A very valid point....
One of the pieces of evidence the Birthers cite is Barack Obama's Indonesian School record. This record is used by many (including Berg, who makes extensive use of it in his lawsuits), to prove the following claims:
1) Obama is a Muslim,
2) He was adopted by Lolo Soetoro
3) His legal name is "Barry Soetoro"
4) He lost his US citizenship and became an Indonesian citizen.
Dr. Orly's Zampolit, Robert Stevens recently did Yet Another Strawman argument against a so-called "O-Bot" who dared question the party line about such things, accusing the person of "cherry picking the evidence to find only material that supports the new "Messiah"
However, the person has a very valid point, which they brought up again in a (more than likely soon to be censored and deleted) reply.
"Explain to me why this blog has appeared to attach significance to the "Indonesian school registry"(proof Obama was Indonesian citizen, proof of adoption of Obama by Soetoro), yet, when I point out that the Place of Birth on this doc says Hawaii, by your own words, you begin to provide excuses or downgrade the doc-your own words: "After all this was not a super important document; just a school registration." Hmmmm, isn't this "cherry picking/bit of a double standard?" "Truth?, but verify."
This is a VERY valid point. That same record that the Birthers attach so much importance to also states Obama's birthplace is Honolulu, Hawaii.
When it's pointed out, they leap though hoops to try and claim that no, they really didn't mean that. It doesn't work that way. They can't cherry pick evidence in a document.
Either the document is as valid as they claim, in which case it shows he was born in the United States, or it's not, in which case the "evidence" it provides is completely in error.
Patrick -- This has always been a problematical document, both for the reason you cite and because it's an Indonesian school registry, which probably has the same authentication requirements as a sign-in memorial book at a funeral home. It suggests much, but proves nothing. Based on the same "evidence," one could with equal confidence argue that Lolo Soetoro lied for the sake of expedience on a form no one was ever going to challenge.
Unfortunately, the "born in Honolulu" part can easily be explained by way of the fake BC which was contrived to disguise Obama's Kenyan birth. See, there's ALWAYS a back-door.
As to why every court, every State AG, both political parties, 90% of Americans and all but one member of Congress find Barack Obama perfectly eligible to become POTUS...well, that's where you have no choice but to accept the awful reality of a conspiracy so deep, so broad and so evil that it staggers the imagination.
It's implausible, fantastic, breathtaking, I know. And I would laugh it off myself, except that these are THE VERY SAME PEOPLE who refuse to believe that I can make myself invisible. It CAN'T be coincidence.

Okay, confession time. I did it too. My daughter's record of vaccinations simply couldn't be found when it came time to register my daughter for high school. All it was, to begin with, was a list of innoculations and dates -- no school had ever asked me to supply proof in the form of medical records or coded medical receipts. I knew she had been vaccinated on schedule, so I went on the website for the American Academy of Pediatricians, found the recommendations, and created an Excel chart with fabricated dates. The school was happy, and four years later my daughter graduated with honors.
Anyway, the long and the short of it is, Lolo Soetoro very likely told the schools what the school needed to hear in order to register a six year old. Father's name - check. Mother's name - check. Indonesian - check. This isn't a verified transcript, where the school actually certifies the information, so it has zero -- nada, zilch -- evidentiary value in a court of law. Wouldn't even be admissible.

Why, I would be set up as the poster child for how low and morally-challenged Obama's supporters are!
I posted a jab at him on Orly's website. Just waiting to see how long before it is deleted. He claims to have visited the "National Register" yesterday to inspect the certificates of votes of the electors, but must not have noticed that inscribed in the stonework above the door was the name "National Archives." I mean, there's even a freakin Metro station for the National Archives -- surely he noticed? I think he fabricated the whole visit story.

Illinois Review jumped the gun on this story last November, posting a story that had not been thoroughly researched. Cook County tax asessor's office set the record straight, and demonstrated that IR didn't know sh*t about how to look up property tax records by parcel identification number. It turns out that Emanuel and his wife paid more than $13,000 in property tax on their residence.

Hey, not a fan of puma, what do you wanna bet the missing pages 8 through 11 are the affidavit of service and proof of mailing? Do the calculations: Complaint filed 1/20/64, Order directing service of process entered 1/23/64, setting hearing on the first Tuesday after 30 days following verified service -- assuming one week for service by registered mail, plus about a week for return of the signed receipt, that would take the hearing date out to approximately early March. Voila! The hearing and final decree are dated 3/5/64, right on target.

BTW - for anyone looking at the divorce document, just hit the button and ignore anything said about passwords. I was easily able to view the whole 9 pages posted...revealing...gee...a divorce and the custody of their one child. Yet if you read the comments on their site, it seems some of them are just ecstatic with this "revelation"...*yawn*
