David Shuster OWNS PUMA on hardball- YOU'RE WELCOME DARRAGH.
Ha! Darragh and Bower just got schooled on MSNBC. I cannot WAIT to see the youtube clips of this one. I am glad shuster was on because he is my favorite!
A friend of mine knew the producer of the hardball segment. He sent me their email. I emailed them the following:
I'm Christina from http://yestodemocracy.com and I have a myriad of information that is relevant to your segment tonight (and any puma segment you may be interested in doing in the future).
Since the inception of the PUMA movement their tactics have had very little to do with promoting Hillary Clinton and more to do with tearing Senator Obama down. They will openly admit that their cause is "no longer about Hillary" though they use her name as a platform to pontificate their right-wing agenda. Nominate the Republican. Each week the goal posts change. It has become a witch hunt, a collaborative agenda to SMEAR not only Obama but the DNC and the Democratic Party. This coalition DOES NOT contain millions and my highest estimates put them in the 20K figure but even then, many say I am being too nice.
It's been a "scatter and attack" campaign. In other words- a swift boat organization. They highly censor and moderate their plethora of sites, banning and deleting anyone with objective opinion in order to keep their constituents from possibly facing the grim reality that Hillary Clinton's loss was not simply due to "the DNC anointing their chosen one." and in order to continue with their possible delusion that THEY -the PUMAs- make up the majority.
Some major points.
- Darragh Murphy donated hundreds of dollars to John McCain in 2000 and voted for him in the 2000 primary what credibility does she have? http://yestodemocracy.typepad.
com/yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/06/puma-founded--1.html
- It is a conflict of interest on her part- investing in a Republican front-runner, and gunning for him in 2008.
- Will Bower lied on national television saying that he and PUMA paid of Hillary Clinton's debt by raising 6 -10 million when as it turns out- is an outright lie.
- Can you really trust her "sole intentions" of getting a "true roll call" and "keeping the Democratic Party Democratic" when she is a member of "PUMA" the party unity my ass group who is avidly PRO-MCCAIN (documented evidence of PUMA/Just Say No Deal being pro-mccain: http://www.yestodemocracy.com/
yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/07/hey-puma--i-tho.html These are a group of people who give credence to most disgusting insults and vitriol toward Senator Obama, and Darragh Murphy chimes right on in- some days leading the way. Do you know that her official statements from an article written about yes to democracy was, "Christina is a piece of shit." Way to be a feminist: http://news.aol.com/political-
machine/2008/07/19/pumapac- strikes-back-stupid-piece-of/ They tout "affirmative action candidate" in their comments- pray that the "blacks do not take over" and allow things like "in order to beat Obama supporters, we need to cut their welfare checks" to be brought up during their daily group think. And this is WITH high moderation and censorship.
Just SOME documented Puma racism:
yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/08/more-puma-racis.html - http://www.yestodemocracy.com/
yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/07/another-bathshi.html - http://www.yestodemocracy.com/
yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/07/page/5/ - http://www.yestodemocracy.com/
yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/07/horrifying-puma.html They are also blaming the death of Gwatney on the DNC:
http://www.yestodemocracy.com/yes_to_democracy_no_to_pu/ 2008/08/arkansas-democr.html Surprise- most of these comments were lifted right from Darragh Murphy's blog.
Everything on yes to democracy in regards to puma is taken right from PUMA sites. I take screenshots of their words, the photos they create. I post links to their hypocrisy, and even try to provide context when I see something incendiary written by one of their talking heads. Most times I am met with hostility.
PUMA blames the DNC for every mean-spirited attack against Senator Clinton, but when I point out their vitriol, they say they are not responsible. Why? Why is the DNC responsible for its constituents but PUMA is not responsible for theirs? That is a fair question, no?
-----
and judging from the interview... I think they used some of it!! Darragh and Bower- you looked SOOOOOO BAD. And I am pleased to know I had a SMALL part in it.
YOU'RE WELCOME DARRAGH
Signed,
The piece of shit.

Nice work, Christina. They better scurry back to Fox, because it's the only network that's going to coddle them. They go anywhere else and they look like total idiots.

I have a full on blog crush.
Smart, funny, politically aware and active, smoking hot, and you wrote/write a sex column?
Swoon.

By the way, Darragh looks like she's shell shocked and Will is clearly losing his mind.

Just watched the clip, they were utterly destroyed. My favorite was when he put up Hillary Clinton asking people to get behind Obama and publicly denouncing PUMA and then asked them how they could call themselves Clinton supporters.
Darragh looks unwell. A bit like Ann Coulter, but without the amphetamines.

Da Rag could NOT even look into the camera because she was afraid to tell the TRUTH ...
Will almost burst into a full blown epileptic fit with all that hate ...
Shuster just murked them perpetually ...
NB: Before the interview Da Rag was on her blog promoting it ...
After the interview she is MIA. I know she can be found in her basement crying her eyes out ...

Wonderful job, Christina!
I have so enjoyed watching you eviscerate the PUMAs here. It is clear that Shuster had his talking points today in his epic take-down of these two loons. I credit you, as it is clear NBC's own research team is somewhat lacking. Thank you so much for all of your great work...someone had to do it and you stepped up to the plate. Bravo!

I saw the video and these two people look absolutely ridiculous and make absolutely no sense.
Christina, great work.

What happened to the buses to Denver? Remember those?
There was:
And then there was:
But as of August 12th, they hadn't raised enought money for even one bus to Denver:
Not to worry though. The important thing is not a media presence, or numbers of protesters, or even a coherent and rational position. The important thing is swag, and so they are well prepared for Denver:
All to be dispensed from their PumaPac headquarters "one block from the Pepsi Center".
But, PumaPac has spent 8000 for Lori and Brad Mays to make a "documentary" about Obama's nomination. Remember that a snippet of this "documentary" opens with Darragh Murphy recounting a death threat against Barack Obama she purportedly received. Why on earth would a documentary about PUMA feature a death threat against Obama?
Oh well, as noted yesterday, Brad May's camera was lost from his checked luggage and Lori May's notebook has also mysteriously disappeared so maybe we'll be spared this documentary, which Darragh Murphy has promised will be ready "next year." Timely, that.

Wow. Did you see Murphy's face fall when he called her on the 6 million claim??
Not to mention Bower's face as well. He looks like he's about to leap across the desk and strangle Shuster.
So, how long before PUMA starts to complain about MSNBC's "anti-Clinton bias"???
BTW Bill, great links. :-)

Patrick, you obviously haven't been scanning the comment threads over at the blog lately. They are pretty much foaming at their collective mouths.

Faux Noise = The Pumas Savior ...
Posted by: HC4BO | August 14, 2008 at 10:14 PM
This is news reporting. MSNBC Hardball has shown how a interview is done. When those jackasses appeared on Fox News the interviewer never questioned there logic and of course this gave them the impression they were right on their stand.
Yahoo MSNBC!!!!!!

Like other cult communities of the past based in ego and fueled on lies of 'you and me against the world', their encampment is about to become more and more entrenched and venomous against reality and the one's in their own ranks who are not yet lost completely to delusion.
It's not gonna be pretty.

"Patrick, you obviously haven't been scanning the comment threads over at the blog lately. They are pretty much foaming at their collective mouths."
Reading them right now. Wow, did #35 actually call Sen. Obama by the name of the AntiChrist in the fundie "Left Behind" books? I didn't know anyone BUT fundie right-wingers read those?
And yeah, blame MSNBC because their clowns and cult leaders got their rears handed to them by the truth and their own claims.
Posted by: Patrick McKinnion | August 14, 2008 at 10:25 PM
"My understanding is that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote."
"You're understanding is wrong."
Christina, well done. It's about time these guys got a verbal beat down. Darragh looked crushed before things even began. Great work and congratulations!

Now guest i'll like to see on Hardball
Ed Hale and Momma E(Two super idiots)
Cristi Adkins
Paula Abeles
Cynthia Ruccia
I know there are but this crew of nuts are the only one I can think of now.
Posted by: Tyrone | August 14, 2008 at 10:47 PM
Yeah Patrick, it's true. Some of these people actually believe that Barack Obama is the anti-christ.
I'm surprised the Scientologists don't tap into this group, they could probably get some good recruits out of the ranks.

@Tyrone: Good suggestions for Hardball guests.
I'd like to add:

Pumalicious - I suspect Denver is gonna be a wake up call for these people. Not just in terms of how the convention plays out, but when it shows the world and everyone just how small of a group they really are.
Though they'll figure out a way to explain that I'm sure.
Posted by: Patrick McKinnion | August 14, 2008 at 11:04 PM
Brilliant! Just brilliant. It was Will Bower himself who was touting the $6 million dollar bail out of Hillary and went as high as $10mill a few weeks ago on Cavuto.
I notice he was silent, didn't correct Schuster and left Daragh, who looked like someone had just shit in her lap, swinging in the breeze.
Puma unity my ass?
