Darragh Murphy thinks I'm a POS.. I think she's a pretty pretty princess.
Seems like Darragh Murphy doesn't know how to be a leader, rise above the fray, and let her cronies do all the time misinformed chattering.
:GASP:
What is this??
::GASP::
What is Darragh doing?!
As you will see below Darragh is mingling with the little people and trying to assimilate.
Here we are. Proof of Darragh being just as hateful as the rest..
An unprovoked personal attack against well, ME.. you know, the one whose blog "doesn't matter."
#43 murphy on 07.19.08 at 10:29 am
Christina is a piece of shit who is so stupid that she thinks being swarmed by flies is the same thing as being popular.
Popular? haha.. it's good to know where Darragh's mind is. She must have been a cheerleader in High School.
God Darragh, you're really cracking up.
Anyone who has seen Braveheart, Searching for Bobby Fisher, Star Wars, and the battle scenes from Lord of the Rings, knows that you're supposed to send your pawns out first. When they lose, then the generals come in.
Did your pawns lose? Is that what we can conclude from your truly, truly, heart-wrenching words?
Darragh- you and your minions have once more lowered the bar, proving that PUMA doesn't really have a cause- they are just out to hate. And what do they hate? Democrats only. And if that Democrat is a woman, ten extra points! It's strange because I could have sworn some PUMA was trying to make a statement with the following shirt for sale:

(Yawn) Just more PUMA hypocrisy.
I am not surprised with Darragh's behavior though. I have heard her spewing hate on blog talk radio before, it was all about Democrats and Donna Brazile. I even tried to call-in and have a heart to heart but it was to no avail.
Word on the street is Darragh is a pretty sketchy leader. She doesn't return emails or phone calls, especially if she thinks the questions might be a little too hard for her to answer; which explains why she ignored our formal letter to her. Which everyone is free to send.
I have never said anything bad about Darragh Murphy as a person on this blog and I will continue not to (other than this rebuttal). But unlike PUMA, I am not a coalition, a PAC, or a group, so I do not have to answer for anyone else who comments here or on any other website who may have said something bad about this so-called "leader."
If Darragh is so upset that I and others have finally begun to ask her why she supports the kind of rhetoric we expose everyday; why she thinks donating to, and voting for, John McCain is a good idea, and why she doesn't make a peep over John McCain's sexist and disturbing comments then she should have thought of that before she began to label Senator Obama an "infidel" [infidel: a person who does not accept a particular faith, esp. Christianity. Darragh's use of it: ex1: View this photo ex2: View this photo]. She should have thought of this before trying to stand up for something like women's issues while supporting someone who is so transparently against them. She should have thought of that before going on national television and calling herself a Democrat.
I am sorry if Darragh can't handle the grim reality that she will no longer be able to continue to use this election as some means to get her "investment" (John McCain) elected without any objective thought.
Darragh's rarefied life of privilege is not something that I will bother going into.
If a term so derogatory like "piece of shit" is used to describe me and the GOOD that I am doing then I will just assume today is backwards day.. and if such is the case, then Darragh Murphy is as of now, a pretty pretty princess.
UPDATE:
Lu4puma12:28PMJul 19th 2008
It is frightening to think that someone like Christine Cedeno will be teaching children. If you are wondering why Murphy bad-mouthed her, you should consider the fact thay Cedeno incited death threats against her and endangered her family (including childred)
I have NEVER EVER sent ANY death threat to ANYONE in my entire life! This is a LIE. If someone has EVIDENCE that I have ever sent ANY kind of death threat to ANYONE prove it!

Yep, just another hypocrite, along with all of the other puma losers, as well as Larry C. Johnson, who basically responds to critics by telling them to f**k off. Just a classy bunch of people here. Makes it all the more fun to berate them.
Posted by: Jeff | July 19, 2008 at 12:58 PM
ugh, now they are trying to pin their false death threats on me. Like I don't have anything better to do than to write fake threatening emails.
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 01:17 PM
Christina,
Keep doing what your doing.
The crackpots oops cracks in murphy's glass house keep getting bigger. I think paranoia and guilt are starting to take a toll on her and It seems like she is becoming more narcissistic with each passing day.
Poor murphy, my heart bleeds for ya.....NOT!!!!
LMAO
Posted by: pumabot | July 19, 2008 at 01:37 PM
I'm kind of surprised they haven't blamed the "death threats" on Amanda Marcotte or me yet. Murphy's an imbecile. If you get a death threat, real or imagined, you don't taunt the person who threatened you and wave your children around while you're doing it.

Christina - I'm new here, and am very glad you got a screen cap of Murphy's comments. I visited the PUMA site today at the request of a friend who is a very active PUMA. I was DISGUSTED at the way Murphy attacked you, and made a very civil comment on the site telling them so. My comment went into "moderation" and in the time since, though dozens of other comments have been accepted and posted, mine has not (big surprise). I am going to appeal to my friend, who claims PUMAs are not afraid to post divergent opinions as long as they are civel, to use her pull to get my remarks posted publicly. If she can not, or will not, may I post them here?
Posted by: Katrina | July 19, 2008 at 01:46 PM
Katrina- you are more than welcome to comment here any time that you would like. :)
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 01:52 PM
My comment went into "moderation"
Pretty typical for PUMA sites. They can't stand people mucking up their echo chamber.
Posted by: Kevin K. | July 19, 2008 at 01:59 PM
Kevin- you want in on this lol? I am more than willing to extend the proverbial "death threat" olive branch.
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 01:59 PM
Yeah, Kevin, I trust my friend, who swears PUMA Pac "is not like that", but I guess this is the test of that, for me and for her.
Posted by: Katrina | July 19, 2008 at 02:04 PM
No, Diane, I am a true blue Obama supporter. I went to check out the PUMA Pac blog as a courtesy to a dear friend who has gotten very involved with them in the last month. She knows I disagree with what they are doing, but she told me I should come read about what they are fighting for before I judged them. So I did, and read Murphy's hateful remarks about Christina. You know the rest. Still waiting, trying to get in touch with my friend, will let you all know one way or the other...
Posted by: Katrina | July 19, 2008 at 02:12 PM
Katrina- Even if you are a PUMA, you're allowed to post here. we have some reasonable PUMA voters commenting from time to time.
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 02:13 PM
Oh okay Katrina. Well, I wish your friend luck.
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 02:14 PM
Diane, just as a follow-up, I have nothing against Hillary, I thing she would make a great president, but there are just a few issues I have more in common with Obama than her - mainly the war in Iraq.

Kevin- you want in on this lol? I am more than willing to extend the proverbial "death threat" olive branch.
Only if it'll get ardent McMurphy defender Mawm back to Rumproast. I so enjoyed kicking his ass around the comment threads last time he showed up. Somehow his comments made it out of moderation, unlike how opposing points of view are treated at his blog home The Confluence.
Posted by: Kevin K. | July 19, 2008 at 02:20 PM
Diane- I think you're on to something with the "majority" theory.
I may just have to explore that.
It's so telling that PUMAs all over the internet talk about the 1st amendment then throw objective opinion overboard on their sites.
Tommy Christopher raised an amazing point last night, why didn't PUMA try to constrain their efforts to ONE blog, ONE site.. I've been thinking about that as well. Harder to dispute them all? To make it appear overwhelming?
I will probably write about it.
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 02:21 PM
Katrina,
I don't think you will ever see your post there, especially if it countered one of murphy's. They have more censors there then the Disney Channel.
I would welcome the chance to post on that site,I would be very respectful and would objectively ask them to tell me why it is I should vote for McCain.
Unfortunately that will never happen. That site is set up and based on the mushroom theory.

If you look at a majority of the sites listed on JustSayNoDeal, they're mostly low-traffic blogs with a handful of posts. I even discovered, without looking too hard, that five of the listed blogs were all hosted by the same guy.
Posted by: Kevin K. | July 19, 2008 at 02:30 PM
haha oh my God Kevin- if I send you and invitation, will you PLEASE cross-post that over here?
Posted by: Christina | July 19, 2008 at 02:32 PM
Murphy is in a snit because she's been exposed as a GOP ratfucker.
I think it's as simple as that. Sure, there are "real" PUMAs out there, like these NINE losers who showed up for a San Francisco PUMA rally.
But that's a classic ratfuckery tactic: The Repubs latch on to a small but disgruntled group and blow it up out of all proportion to its numbers to sew discord. Their media arm, FOX News, is of course willing to help.
I mean, if there were literally millions of PUMAs as the group claims, wouldn't they be able to muster more than NINE people at a protest in San Francisco? (Hell, I bet I could get more than 9 people to show up to protest an alleged plot by cabal of gerbils from Pluto to take over the DNC.) Wouldn't Obama be dogged at every campaign stop by thousands of roaring PUMAs?
But that's not happening. Some money is coming in and there's some organization behind the scenes. The GOP is good at accomplishing that. The "real" PUMAs are their unwitting dupes.
I'm glad you're telling the truth about them, though I doubt they'll listen.

Pumabot - I can tell you what my friend told me "Because he's not Obama". That's it in a nutshell. I'd respect them a bit more if their recommendations for the general election were ONLY: to vote Green or Libertarian or write in Hillary or just stay home. But the fact that these "Democrats" even suggest that McCain is a option is very telling to me, and why I have been skeptical of them from the start.

Christina,
You've chosen only a single link in your efforts to break the chain of concerned citizens who are standing up for core principles of our democracy.
Using Darragh Murphy and the Pumas as a foil to make a name for yourself, is that it?
Why don't you just try standing up for what you believe - explaining it, defending it, fighting for it - rather than just trying to tear other people down for exercising their rights in our democracy?
You're in way over your head.

Betty Cracker- hahahaha. oh my god, I can't even respond. I was laughing so hard at that video, I thought I would cry. It reminds me of the two PUMAs that protested in NY.

LMFAO Betty....How pathetic.
That video is awesome.
I had a prob getting it to work though so i went to youtube and watched it from there.

That is why I would welcome the chance to post there.

From Petulant PAC:
About this Christina person - ignore her. It’s real hard for her to argue with her followers. If we acknowledge her, we give her strength and power to hurt us - I don’t think so!! Many of you already know that Anger and Hate takes up alot of our precious time. This is just another “attack” mode.
"Many of you already know that Anger and Hate takes up alot of our precious time."
Umm, yeah, no shit. Hating Barack. Hating Michelle. Hating Howard Dean. Hating Donna Brazile. Hating Keith Olberman. Hating Josh Marshall. Hating Ed Rendell. Etc. Etc. Etc. I mean, the list is virtually endless. I think the only people they don't hate anymore are Hillary, Bill, Chelsea, and a cavalcade of rightwing pundits.

Knoxville NFIL: I'm standing up for making fun of you and the other crackpots in the puma echo chamber. Has today's growl been sent out, or is Darragh to busy swearing at her opponents or figuring out how to embezzle the money she's raised?
Posted by: Jeff | July 19, 2008 at 03:14 PM
Jeff ~
Is that what you're standing up for? Really? How very noble of you.
Well, if Jeff's the best you got, then I've been wasting my time.
Too bad...
WE'RE NOT FALLING IN LINE BEHIND AN UNKNOWN, INEXPERIENCED, UNQUALIFIED, AND UNPRINCIPLED NEOPHYTE WHO HAS NOTHING MORE TO OFFER THAN FLOWERY RHETORIC AND EMPTY SLOGANS FOR EACH AND EVERY AMERICAN.
And we're NOT FALLING IN LINE behind the supposed leaders of the undemocratic Democratic Party who, by enabling this weasel, have failed us yet again.
Constituents in a representative democracy deserve better representatives.

Christina - Is there any way you can look up my e-mail address and contact me directly? I have a personal question...

Lifted from murphy's site.......
"Remember, PUMAs, we stalk. We watch. We wait. We pounce."
How cute... All i can think of when they say things like that and "roar" is the Lion King.
When the hyaena's were teaching lil simba to hunt.
